How did it start?
My adventure started with the purchase of a Chinese starter kit for 400PLN.... Soon after I found out that Buszi & Ponton Tattoo Studio was looking for an apprentice. I immediately submitted my portfolio and that's how I ended up at the studio. Initially I was there twice a week because I was also doing a degree in design. Eventually I was faced with the choice of continuing studying at the university or getting more involved in the life of the studio. The decision was difficult because I was only six months away from writing my bachelor's thesis. In the end, I believe that dropping out of school in lieu of a full-time job was the right decision.

What projects do you specialize in?
The more I get into it, the harder I find it to define my style. What I create is a mixture of different styles, mainly based on color and contour, based on neo-traditional and new-school style. In the future, I would like my work simply to be known as Ophelia’s.

What do you like to do in your free time?
Animals play an important role in my life, before my life paths intertwined with the world of tattooing, I was to become a veterinarian. As for other interests: because of so many creative hobbies in which you can engage, I'm not in danger of being bored.

In addition to making phenomenal punches, what do you think is the key to success and can increase popularity in the profession?
I think a lot of people start tattooing just because it's ‘cool'. But for those who are fond of it and want to dedicate themselves to this industry, I can wish them so much perseverance, persistence, confidence, non-stopping need to learn and grow, and incomprehensible amounts of humility.
